Why people are moving to Dallas in 2022!

During this past year we’ve seen a lot of people relocating. Some families/individuals have relocated to being near family, new jobs, loss of jobs, more opportunity, cost of living etc. Texas was one of the states people relocated to, especially coming for the east and west coast. In DFW alone, the population grew approximately 120,000 during the pandemic and that doesn’t include births.

Dallas is known for their scenery, landmarks, business opportunities, and being a family friendly city. It has also been said that it is a great place for young professionals!

#5 Cost of Living

Last but not least, one of the main reasons people are moving to Texas is the cost of living. Compared to other major cities Dallas cost of living is lower due to minimal regulations, there is no state income tax, car insurance comes at a premium, and eating out is reasonable.

Now that you know about some of the benefits of Dallas. I want to leave you with this fun fact!

Dallas had the first frozen margarita machine. The concept was inspired by the 7-Eleven slurpee machine. The first frozen margaritas machine was an altered ice cream machine at Marino’s (a Mexican restaurant in Dallas).
